Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour (250gr.)

  • 2 cups of unsweetened soy milk (480gr.)

  • 1/2 cup of any sweetener (better works with sugar) (100gr.)

  • 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil (80gr.)

  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

  • 1 pinch of salt

Method:

Step 1: Grease the waffle iron with a drop of vegetable oil and turn it on

Step 2: Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl

Step 3: Add the soy milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients

Step 4: Whisk the mixture by hand until it forms into a smooth batter

Step 5: Pour the batter into the waffle iron according to its instructions

These waffles came out perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

The secret ingredient is the vegetable oil in the batter. Be sure to not omit it or your waffles might not get crispy.

This recipe makes around 10 waffles.

I would recommend serving them with pure maple syrup, chocolate sauce, berries, and peanut butter. Although they are tasty on their own!😋.
