Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry sheets (mine are from Lidl with a vegan sticker on them)

  • 3 medium apples.

  • 3 tbsp any type of sweetener (sugar, maple syrup, sugarfree syrup).

  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon.

  • 100gr. of dried cranberries

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

For the golden and crispy top:

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp sugar

Method:

Step 1: Preheat your oven up to 180C.

Step 2: Peel and cut apples in a bowl into small pieces.

Step 3: Mix in sweetener, cranberries, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Step 4: Take 1 sheet of pastry and cut into 4 long slices. On one part make four cuts in the middle on every slice to make your strudels cute and fancy.

Step 5: Put your mix on the other side. Gently take the half with cuts and put on top of the half with the filling and gently press the open sides with fork save your filling inside of strudels and make them even fancier 😏.

Step 6: Brush your strudels with oil and put a little bit of sugar on top.

Step 7: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
