Seitan burger 😏

💪🏻🌱What about junk food that is low in fat and high in protein? Sounds good right - you will not believe how tasty it is when you try😋

  • 200gr. wheat gluten

  • 150ml. vegetable stock

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 0,5 tsp salt

  • 0,5 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce.

For brushing:

  • 60gr. BBQ sauce


Step 1: Add all ingredients in a bowl except bbq sauce, mix all together until you reach dough consistency.

Step 2: Form burger rounds and brush with bbq sauce.

Step 3: This recipe makes at least 6 big burger patties.

Step 4: For cooking there are two options - frying for regular burger or baking for 20min. at 180C - for healthier alternative:)

And rest of your burger - use your imagination - I do usually add - hummus, mustard, ketchup, avocado, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, pickles (on top), and some vegan cheese.
